Occupational therapyOccupational therapy is the process of teaching, or re-teaching, gross motor skills (e.g. walking), fine motor skills (e.g. hand-eye coordination) and cognitive skills (e.g. basic decision making). Providence Care occupational therapy is delivered by occupational therapists and certified occupational therapy assistants for patients who have been challenged by a physical disease (e.g. arthritis) or a neurological impairment (e.g. stroke).
